Multi Purpose Vehicle

The Multi-Purpose Vehicle is another important sample of all Bureau team's arsenal. The vehicles were designed entirely by Zharkov R&D for the Bureau. There are three main types of MPV used by the Bureau. They are all based on the same basic technical design…they just look different

Initially built by Land Rover (until the end of 2016), the Standard MPV is one of the most important pieces of tech in the Bureau. In early 2017, the Range Rover MPVs were retired and replaced by Mercedes Benz GL-63 AMG SUVs. Each field mission has two (2) MPVs allocated to it

The idea behind the MPV is total versatility, and to that end, the car has the unique ability to change it's shape to suit the needs to of the team. MPVs are equipped with a system that transforms the license plate to match whatever country is in. As well, they have an 'off-road' mode when the going gets tough.

The basic features of the vehicle remain the same. Each of the MPVs is a fully loaded, top of the line GL-Class Mercedes with all the amenities there of. As well, the car acts as a WiFi hotspot and can be tracked by the Bureau remotely. Each car is keyed to its team's bio-energies and anyone who the car doesn't recognize is given a very painful shock. Two vehicles can can be 'slaved' to the other meaning that on a mission both cars can be driven only by one driver.

All of the vehicles come standard with deployable, purple emergency vehicle lights mounted in the roof and front grill of the car.

Because of the extensive modifications on the car, it can comfortably seat 4 adults (two in the front and two in the rear). Six agents can fit into the car, however the two, rear most seats are less than ideal.

Each member of the Upper Echelon has access to a chauffeur driven MPV of their own. These MPVs are built by Rolls Royce using Zharkov's designs and are driven by a specially trained agent of the Director's Hand division. They take the form of an Extended Wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom. Department head's can customize their MPVs in anyway (including the paint job). All of these vehicles are equipped with a system that assigns them a Diplomatic Registration Plate for whatever country the vehicle is in. The Director's limo is British Racing Green.

The Bureau Medical Department has access to a fleet of large ambulance style MPVs. They are built by Mercedes Benz as well, modelled on their Citaro bus. Each bus has an operating room in the back, four triage centres and enough seating for two dozen medical personnel (including driver). These mobile hospitals are the toughest of the MPV line-up, as they have to be able to power through just about anything it faces.
